Registered IoM Charity No. 1228

Manx Wild Bird Aid is a registered charity (No. 1228) on the Isle of Man that rehabilitates sick, injured or orphaned wild birds and returns them to the wild.

We do not yet have our own premises, so the birds are presently all cared for and released in the homes and gardens of volunteers.

We are all volunteers who do not get paid for our time or claim expenses.

There are lots of different ways in which you can help us, with options to suit all abilities, time commitments and your own personal circumstances.

At busy times of the year we are inundated with calls to collect sick or injured birds, and so we run a network of transportation volunteers across the island. Please click here for further information.

We also need assistance with building aviaries, hand rearing and adoption, and at our bird hospital and outdoor aviaries.

We also have multiple ways that you can help us to raise funds to pay for feed, bedding, veterinary bills, medication and equipment.
